A lyric in nine stanzas of ten lines each, ascribed to William Shakespeare in a Bodleian Library manuscript collection of poems which dates probably from the late 1630s. Another, unascribed version is in the Beinecke Library, Yale University. The poem was first included in a Shakespeare edition in the Oxford Complete Works (1986). Its authorship has been disputed.
