Quick Reference

The statement must include the name and address of the employer, the job title, the date employment began, the rate of pay and hours of work, holiday and other benefits, the notice period, grievance and disciplinary rules, and details of any collective agreements which directly affect terms and conditions. The UK statutory right to a written statement of employment particulars gives effect to the European Written Particulars Directive 1991.
