Overview

savannah woodland

Quick Reference

A savannah in which trees and shrubs form a generally light canopy. The trees and bushes are generally deciduous, yet evergreens are usually also well represented. Some tall trees occur, but most are stunted and gnarled. They frequently have thick, corky, fire-resistant bark.
