Pro-anorexia, loosely descriptive of a subculture, associated literature, and especially web sites that provide support for people with eating disorders and also sometimes (controversially) promote anorexia nervosa as a lifestyle choice and publish images of anorexic women as ‘thinspiration’ (inspiration to become thin).
