(c. 1400—1466)
Quick Reference
(d. 1467),
German goldsmith. He financed Gutenberg's experiments in printing, but their partnership was dissolved probably in 1455 and Fust carried on with his son‐in‐law Peter Schöffer. Their Latin Psalter of 1457 is the first to bear a printer's imprint and date.
