The capacity of people to read, interpret, and produce graphic information (sketches, photographs, diagrams, charts, graphs, maps). Graphicacy is to graphics what literacy is to texts and numeracy is to numbers. Each of these forms of communication has its own symbol and language systems that work to convey information.
