Formed in Switzerland in 1984 from the ashes of the thrash metal-inspired Hellhammer, Celtic Frost’s focal point was Thomas Gabriel Warrior (b. Thomas Gabriel Fischer, 19 July 1966, Zurich, Switzerland; guitar, vocals).
