(᾽Ιουστινιανή Πρι̑μα), city in the province of Dardania in Illyricum, founded by Justinian I near his birthplace of Tauresium. Although its location has been much discussed, it is now usually identified as the site of Caričin Grad, 45 km south of Niš.
