Skydiving is a recreational and competitive form of parachuting; skysurfing is skydiving on a board. Participants of both use a rig containing two parachutes (the second as a reserve) and may use a variety of techniques, including freefall, free flying, surfing, pond swooping, and canopy formation as they fall to Earth.
