Hazing is a form of behavior found both in and out of sports that is not easy to define, even by those who are the victims or the perpetrators. Hazing can range from harmless gestures designed to build team spirit, to forced drinking, to beatings and even death. Hazing that causes emotional or physical harm has become an issue for parents, criminal justice systems, and high school and college administrators; education and prosecution both are used to prevent and punish hazing. ...
