Goalball
Goalball was invented in 1946 as a way for visually impaired and blind World War II veterans to improve their sound localization ability and to stay active. Since 1980, it has been a full part of the Paralympics. Goalball is played by two teams of three players wearing various kinds of blindfolds and goggles, making the game completely tactile and auditory for all players; it may also be played by those who are able to see.
