For two weeks, the entire Oxford Reference site was freely accessible as millions of scholars, students, and researchers were cut off from crucial tools during the U.S. Government shutdown.

Though this opportunity has passed, there are still numerous ways that new users can explore unlocked content, to try out Oxford Reference's unique features.

TIP: Looking for a list of the titles you have access to? Click the “Browse All” button on the drop down and click the “Books” tab. If you have set up your account to default to the titles you subscribe to, your results will show up automatically. Otherwise, click the “Show Full Text Only” filter on the lefthand side. Note: Free content and subscription content will be shown together.
